1. What we collect

When you message Dost, we receive your WhatsApp messages, the sender's phone number, and any photos, PDFs, documents, or voice notes you send. We keep a record of the conversation so Dost can remember what you have told it and follow up on tasks.

2. How your data is used

Your messages and files are used to answer you, run the tasks you ask for (reminders, calls, look-ups, drafts, quizzes), and keep your private memory. We use automated systems — including third-party language models — to generate replies. Your data is not used to train or improve those models.

3. Who reads your chats

Nobody reads your chats for content. We do not sell or share your conversations. Automated systems may look at technical logs (delivery status, errors) to keep the service working.

4. How long we keep it

Your conversation history and memory are kept while your Dost exists. When you delete your Dost, its memory, and your chat records are permanently removed. You can also erase just your memory at any time.

5. Your choices

• Stop messages: send stop or unsubscribe. Your data stays saved.
• Erase memory: send /reset — your Dost forgets what it learned about you.
• Delete everything: send /delete and confirm — your Dost, its memory, and your chat records are permanently removed.

6. WhatsApp

Dost runs inside WhatsApp. WhatsApp has its own privacy policy, which governs your use of WhatsApp itself. We never see your other WhatsApp chats.

7. Security

We restrict access to your data to the systems that need it to run Dost, and we review technical logs only for errors and abuse. No service is perfectly secure; please don't share sensitive credentials (OTPs, passwords, card numbers) with Dost.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. If we do, the new version takes effect when posted on this page. We'll also announce material changes in the chat.
