# FAQ — Dost (दोस्त)

Honest answers about Dost.

## What is Dost?

Dost is a friend that lives in WhatsApp. Send it anything — a photo of a bill,
a PDF, a voice note, a forward to check. It reads it, replies in your language,
and gets things done: reminders, wake-up calls, morning briefings, exam
quizzes, bill maths, drafts, lists.

## What does Dost remember about me?

Your Dost keeps its own private record: the conversation, facts you tell it
about yourself, and notes it makes while helping you. That memory is separate
for every person.

## How much does Dost cost?

Every Dost is free: 100 messages a day, resetting each morning. An all-day
unlimited tier is coming soon.

## Who runs Dost?

Dost is made by [Scholete AI](https://scholete.com).

## Does a human read my chats?

No. Your conversations go to your Dost only. We don't sell or share your chats.

## Can Dost see my photos or read my files?

Yes. Send a photo, PDF, document or voice note — Dost reads it and works from
what it finds.

## How do I stop Dost from messaging me?

Send `stop` or `unsubscribe`. Dost acknowledges once and never messages you
again.

## How do I delete my Dost and my data?

Send `/delete` in the chat, then reply YES to confirm. This permanently deletes
your Dost, its memory, and all your chat records.

## Can I erase just my Dost's memory?

Yes — send `/reset` and confirm.
